Christmas craft-ish

So I didn't really craft this, but I'm not an awesome decorator. However, I do like how the space above my cabinets turned out. I did this last year and will probably add more and more to it every year! I love the sparkle and I have a rope light that makes everything even more sparkly!!

I also have two little sconce things next to my TV that hold medium sized candles. All I had were plain old white candles and I wasn't about to pay for the pretty ones. So I just glittered them up myself. A little spray glue and glitter works miracles!

Next --- Chloe's multi-colored crayons. My mom had a BUNCH of crayons from the church library (they were going to get thrown away so my dad brought them for the grandkids). She let me take a few to assist with my little project.
This was so easy and they turned out surprisingly well! I would love to make more of these in different shapes :)

And finally were the stockings. Sadly these did NOT turn out as well as I had hoped. Good thing I bought
plenty of extra fabric. I will probably try again next year. My goal is to practice all year long! Anyway, here are the best pictures that you will get of them! Mine is missing from the couch b/c Shane hadn't filled it yet.

Overdue

Well, lets go back to Halloween! I will probably make Chloe's costumes for as long as she'll let me. It's so much more fun! This year she was a fairy princess --- again. She did this one two years ago, but I had more fun with it this time because she didn't fall asleep!

This skirt was so easy - but extremely time consuming. And messy... Lots of glitter everywhere!

I also made her "wand".

Anyway, I didn't take as many pictures of the process as I should have, but there's only so much to it!
